This Privacy Notice discloses the privacy practices for Scout Outdoors ("we," "us," or "our"), accessible via our website at scoutoutdoors.app and our mobile application available on the Apple App Store or Android App Store (the "App").
This Privacy Notice governs data collected through both the website and the App and notifies you of the following:
What personal information is collected from you, how it is used, and with whom it may be shared.

1. Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
We are the sole owners of the information collected on our website and App. We only collect or have access to information that you voluntarily give us via direct contact (e.g., email), account registration, or through your active use of the App and website.
What We Collect
Direct Communications: Name, email address, phone number, or support message details when you contact us.
Account & Profile Data: Account credentials and settings if you create a Scout account.
Device & Technical Data: Device hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and basic usage diagnostics.
Location Data: If you enable location services in the App, we collect geolocation data solely to provide core outdoors and navigation functionalities.
How We Use & Share Your Data
We will use your information to operate our services and respond regarding the reason you contacted us.
We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information to third parties for advertising purposes.
We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, except as necessary to fulfill your requests (e.g., cloud storage infrastructure or payment processors) or as required by law.
2. Apple App Store or Android App Store Disclosures & Controls
To comply with Apple’s App Store or Android App Store Guidelines and privacy standards:
App Tracking Transparency (ATT): We do not track you across third-party apps or websites for targeted advertising purposes. If we ever implement tracking features, we will ask for your explicit consent via iOS's or Android App Tracking Transparency prompt prior to collecting such data. You can manage these permissions at any time in your iOS settings under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Or similar Android settings.
Data Linking: Data collected (such as your account details or support history) is linked to your account solely to maintain App functionality and provide customer support. Anonymous diagnostic data is not linked to your identity.
3. Your Access to and Control Over Information
You may opt out of future contact from us at any time. You can do the following by contacting us via email or phone, or by accessing the in-app account controls:
View Data: See what data we have about you, if any.
Correct Data: Change or correct any data we have about you.
Account Deletion: Request complete deletion of your account and associated personal data. (In compliance with Apple requirements, you may also initiate complete account deletion directly within the Scout iOS app settings menu).
Express Concerns: Raise any concerns you have about our use of your data.
4. Cookies & Web Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies on scoutoutdoors.app to improve your experience and identify repeat site visitors. For instance, cookies allow you to stay logged in without re-entering your password on every page visit.
Usage of cookies on our website is not linked to any personally identifiable information beyond maintaining your active session. You can disable cookies in your web browser settings at any time.

We take strict precautions to protect your information both online and offline.
